Holiday Rate Policy

Holidays are some of the most popular times for families to need childcare, but they're also times when many sitters have plans of their own!

To help encourage sitter availability and give families the best possible chance of securing care during these high-demand times, Summerville Sitters charges 1.5 times our standard hourly rate on the following holidays:

• New Year's Day

• Valentine's Day

• Easter Sunday

• Memorial Day

• Independence Day (July 4)

• Labor Day

• Halloween

• Thanksgiving Day

• Christmas Eve

• Christmas Day

• New Year's Eve

Please note: Holiday rates apply to all bookings taking place on the holidays listed above. While these rates help encourage sitter availability, all bookings remain subject to sitter acceptance and cannot be guaranteed.
